Among delicate ferns, bright berry branches and wild woodland plants, a charming forest scene unfolds. Layered fern silhouettes create a remarkable sense of depth, giving the impression of looking through different levels of the woodland. Small forest children and birds explore natures treasures together, gathering berries or resting among mushrooms and ferns. Kerstin Hess combines the richness of the forest with a warm storytelling style of illustration. The vivid berry tones create lively accents among the soft natural shades, drawing attention to the many delightful details hidden throughout the design. Together they create a woodland world inspired by the small wondersfound along forest paths.
